| The Creativity|works project is working with children and young people from early years to age 25 yrs. The arts projects will link in with their families and their communities and involve
them in designing and developing projects that they themselves have identified as important to them. |
| The creative projects will also link older young people with employment
opportunities and skills development. Creativity|works will develop the potential to work with young people
and local artists to establish modern apprenticeships within the creative industries and involve local artists in
training and mentoring. creativity|works will also support young people to establish social enterprises that
provide a service for young people by young people themselves. |
| Creativity|works will raise awareness of the role of the arts in community
development, regeneration and inclusion. The project will develop evidence to support the role that the arts and
creativity play in developing vibrant communities and the creative economy, and demonstrate how the arts can assist
local authorities to achieve ‘engagement with the arts’. The project will develop performances, publications,
events and exhibitions that celebrate and promote achievements locally, regionally and potentially
nationally. |
